Chinese agents were buying up huge supplies in advance of the virus taking hold outside China. This is why there is a shortage of supplies, its not just the manufacturing capacity that was shipped off to China, the chinks were out there raiding supplies.
Another cat-eating real-estate company managed to do even worse by exporting 82 fricking tons of supplies while a hospital in Sydney is down to 30 masks.

As coronavirus locked down Wuhan, the global Fortune 500 company put its normal work on hold and instructed staff in Australia, Canada, Turkey and elsewhere to source supplies

I hate the Chinese as much as anyone but I don’t blame them for this. Take care of your country first and I can promise you their COVID 19 pandemic is t over as they claim.

This shite never fails to amaze me.
China always uses masks. They live in a constant fog due to pollution. Even in the best of times, you see pictures of Chinese going about their lives, going to work and wearing masks.
So this COVID-19 comes around. The vile shite on this board spends 2 months trashing the Democrats for "overreacting" to this, and saying that COVID-19 is not even as bad as the flu.
Trump downplays the COVID-19. In February he and Pompeo boasts and brags how they shipped off 18 TONS of medical PPE, respirators, and other medical supplies to China. That's how China got their "horde" of supplies. They didn't downplay the virus.
So now the vile, blind, brain-dead people here who were LAUGHING at how the "Dems" were overreacting to this, are now ready to jump into rowboats with their AR-15 rifles, and paddle to China to wage war with them, because they actually proactively responded to the pandemic in a way that we didn't, and have yet done.
It's hilarious in a very pathetic way.....
