Child just got quarantined from school a second time (back to back) for contact only

My daughter was out on a 5 day quarantine last week, went back to school Friday, and just got sent home again for a five day quarantine due to sitting next to a kid in class who apparently tested positive. My daughter is fine/non-symptomatic, and said the kid who tested positive wears a mask religiously. I told my other daughter who is in the middle of her HS hoops season that if she is sitting next to anyone who wears a mask, get moved ASAP, because those are the kids who have idiot parents and are getting tested because they sneeze or cough. (Our schools are optional masks.)

That's actually great advice. Talk to her coach and have him/her talk to the teachers. Coaches should be doing this with all of their players. The kids know which kids have crazy parents. Avoid them at all costs or their season is wrecked.

Where is this? Private or public school? My kids' school only requires quarantine if you are positive, no more contact only quarantine.

IT's why desirable schools systems drive up the prices of homes. When school system is crap, or has weirdos running them, people flee. Get a Marxist mayor to increase crime and a marxist schoolboard to make school like nazi germany, then people flee. It's why California is now owned by Marxists. They turn it into a dump and now they own it because there is no one there to confront them any more.

I keep wondering when the lunacy will stop.
It's always been absolutely benign to children (really anyone healthy that's under 50, but I digress).
Now that's it's no worse than a cold to everyone, they still persist with the draconian sanctions.
When will common sense prevail?
When will the adults in the room finally be heard?
This is not an emergency anymore (and in hindsight, it seems it never truly was an emergency).
Take the government boot off of the people.

Public, in GA, near Tallahassee. They’re still doing contact tracing here, but I think some of the schools are using common sense and ignoring it. Think my youngest daughter’s school is taking it overboard.

The only way to stop this is get other parents to complain to the School Board.
Masks do not work said the CDC and the little troll Fauci early on.
I’d go in there and ask to see what data they are basing the masks on because there is not one controlled study on the planet that proves the face diaper works.
So glad I don’t live where the majority of the population have been fooled by the propaganda.
