I admire McCain for his military service. His Senate service revealed him to be a small, petty and bitter man. Arguably a traitor. Sorry if this hurts your feelings.

Trumps insults were about his military service and you can't deny it

It doesn’t matter. They came after the guy had peddled a phony dossier ginned up by foreign intelligence sources. All in an attempt to overthrow a duly elected president. Context is important.

This is what you cultist defend

quote:

Trump turning to Kelly on Memorial Day 2017, as they stood among those killed in Afghanistan and Iraq in Section 60 at Arlington National Cemetery, and saying, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”

Uh, it’s a legitimate question, especially as it relates to Iraq. I want a president who asks these kinds of questions.

OP doesn’t show link, just wall of texts. OP thinks he’s downvoted by those that are for DJTs statements of POWs. OP doesn’t think.

more shite you people are defending and the mod anchors

quote:

And Kelly’s statement adds context to a story in the book “The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021,” by Susan Glasser and Peter Baker, in which Trump, after a separate trip to France in 2017, tells Kelly he wants no wounded veterans in a military parade he’s trying to have planned in his honor. Inspired by the Bastille Day parade, except for the section of the parade featuring wounded French veterans in wheelchairs, Trump tells Kelly, “Look, I don’t want any wounded guys in the parade.” “Those are the heroes,” Kelly said. “In our society, there’s only one group of people who are more heroic than they are – and they are buried over in Arlington.” “I don’t want them,” Trump said. “It doesn’t look good for me.”

I found your problem. You are still listening to CNN. I’m not defending the man. He has many faults, including his vaccine heroism and transgenderism stance. Your sources, though, are tainted.

These are the acts and words of a former President of the United States. The words and acts of a current candidate for President.

Can there be a more important thread?

This thread goes to the bottom if your only source is CNN, a news platform that has a history of manipulating language and falsifying statements.

Clearly, you have a short recollective memory. I’ll dumb it down. Don’t read/reference CNN. They are far from accurate with the majority of their publishings.

This is garbage.
The Atlantic is garbage.
You sir, are garbage.

quote:

Kelly said, when asked if he wanted to weigh in on his former boss in light of recent comments made by other former Trump officials.

“A person that thinks..."

"A person that did not want..."

" A person who demonstrated..."

"A person who is not truthful..."

"A person that has no idea..."

"A person who admires..."

"A person that has..."

"sources told Goldberg"

"In the statement, Kelly is confirming, on the record, a number of details in a 2020 story in The Atlantic by editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, including Trump turning to Kelly on Memorial Day 2017, as they stood among those killed in Afghanistan and Iraq in Section 60 at Arlington National Cemetery, and saying, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”

He's not confirming anything other than that statement, for which he was present, and is in no way derogatory towards the fallen.

John Bolton is no friend of Donald Trump, but the president's former national security adviser on disputed the anonymously sourced story by The Atlantic.

Bolton confirmed in his controversial book "The Room Where it Happened" that the cancellation was weather-related. He explained weather didn't permit a helicopter trip, and the possibility of being stuck in road traffic was an "unacceptable risk".

Eric Swalwell's reaction cites yet another debunked, fake news, Russian "Bountygate" story...

"Now I get why @realDonaldTrump
won’t stand up to Putin for bounties on our troops. Does Trump act as a Russia agent? Yes. But, Trump also thinks any US troops killed by Russia bounties are “suckers” or “losers.” He hasn’t defended them. He never will."
