If Liz Cheney would have said nothing about impeachment and not voted for it, she would have smoked any competitor yesterday.

Imagine that. Folks don't like it when you vote to impeach a person who committed no crimes.

So, you're saying that not only has she committed her rino establishment views into eliminating DJTs re-election via the 1/6 committee, she has also had a weak voting record contrary to her constituents best interest? Adding to that, she chose to align with the "Lincoln Project", a group of establishment never Trumpers?

We should also address the bolded portion of my statement. These are the primary fuel to the voting inferno she was roasted in.

Cheney lost because she started siding with Democrats on several issues, including issues that had nothing to do with Trump. Trump could have endorsed her and she still would've lost yesterday.

You couldn’t be more wrong lol.

Cheney lost a Republican primary in one of the most Trump-voting states in the country.

I'm not sure you can read much more into it other than Republican primary voters like Trump.

It's hardly reflective of the general electorate - for starters, the general electorate will be be significantly different than a Republican primary in a deep red state i.e. the most Trump-y voters in America.

The title calls out never Trumpers, those are rep primary voters not the general electorate.

No, they weren't. Outside of Wyoming, that's what got her a lot of hate, but if she had represented the people who elected her she'd have had a shot.

If she had not joined the J6 committee and been the figurehead for it, she would have likely won.

Without her impeachment vote, she may not have even been seriously opposed.

so she lost and she is the blame for the loss, right?

well, i suppose if she campaigns for the 2024 Presidential election she will keep her pie hole shut with respect to President Trump.

i can see now why she mentioned Honest Abe in her remarks yesterday. she is a smart cookie.

Absolutely true. I fully expect Cassidy to suffer the exact fate as Cheney. Anti Trump whiplash.

All Republican voters are not the same as those on this site, which skews heavily to MAGA and is dominated by voters south of the Ohio River and East of the Rockies.

Because the average national republican voter is a lifelong Republican, the average Politard is a Dixicrat who had no where else to go when the democrats tossed them out, a very large distinction.

I think uncle fester actually answered his own riddle. But then you gave him the layman's answer. Let’s se if he gets it.
