Agreed. That was the impression I got at the time so the story about the TV make sense. Ryan was the policy wonk so leave it to him to iron out the details.

Am I the only one this board that would pay Big Time Boxing World Title Fight PPV money to watch Trump in "attack mode" during a negotiation? I can only assume he always assumes someone is watching but you get my meaning.
I mean, the zingers he must hurl at these idiots, especially the ones on his team (thinking Ryan, Flake, etc), have got to be pure gold. You just know Scalise has some stories.....O to be a fly on that wall
