CNN quoting WaPo quoting a book from a former aide, so I know fake news will be thrown around, but these quotes are so Trump:

quote:

Trump took Paul Ryan to task over Ryan's loyalty to him after the former House speaker criticized Trump's handling of the deadly 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia, rally, according to the excerpts.

"Paul, do you know why Democrats have been kicking your a-- for decades? Because they know a little word called 'loyalty,'" Trump told Ryan over the phone. "Why do you think Nancy [Pelosi] has held on this long? Have you seen her? She's a disaster. Every time she opens her mouth another Republican gets elected. But they stick with her...Why can't you be loyal to your president, Paul?"

Trump also brought up how Ryan distanced himself from Trump in 2016 after the release of the "Access Hollywood" tape, in which Trump could be heard bragging about being able to grope women.

"I remember being in Wisconsin and your own people were booing you," Trump told the Wisconsin Republican, according to the excerpt. "You were out there dying like a dog, Paul. Like a dog! And what'd I do? I saved your a--."

Also explains why the GOP didn't pass a healthcare bill.

quote:

Sims also writes in his book that Trump was so disinterested during an Oval Office meeting with Ryan about the Republican health care bill that he walked out and turned on his TV in another room, according to the Post. Vice President Mike Pence had to convince the President to return to the Oval Office and continue the meeting, Sims wrote, according to the Post.

Paul Ryan is no longer the Speaker or in Congress. He saw the writing on the wall, and it said "Paul, you're a loser. Now GTFO."

Do you think these quotes about Ryan are some kind of gotcha moment for you? I wish this shite had been published while Ryan was still in office...

If Trump actually said those things to him, then I personally think it is great...

LOL - If Ryan had any balls he could have leveraged Trump to actually get some shite done. You don't have to like Trump but you damn sure have to work with him.

I remember during the healthcare stuff Trump saying something to the effect of "just get me a bill and I'll sign it, I don't care about the particulars" so that story about him walking out to watch TV is probably accurate (and hilarious) too.

Just shitting all over Paul Ryan

this is why we LOVE GEOTUS. Dems love the spineless, bought-and-paid-for LOSER Paul Ryan. It’s why they hate trump so much, they can’t bully him

“Fake but accurate”, I would guess.

Do I think they have properly attributed quotes for him calling out Ryan? No.

Do I think Trump would say that stuff? Absolutely.

Paul Ryan got his position to pass Progressive agendas with a righteous conservative face. He had no interest in helping Trump pass actual conservative legislation. That’s why GEOTUS retired him

Whatever that GOP healthcare bill was, it passed the House which means Ryan got it through.

I think the story about Trump walking out to go watch TV and Pence having to beg him back is stretching it but the overall berating quote isn't hard to believe at all.

When Ryan was doing an interview in his Speaker's Office; he rolled his eyes with a reported in there because the President was calling him A G A I N.

The two clashed and Ryan was a part of the dossier garbage. Ryan left with a what was it 17% approval rating? No one liked him but maybe the democrats.

Miserable failure by RINO's like Ryan - They talked big about repealing the ACA and when they had a President that was willing to do it, they dropped the ball.

I don't think Trump really understands shite about healthcare except that the ACA is a shitty piece of legislation that is a drag on businesses and the middle classes and doesn't deliver shite. I think Trump was all: "Hey - just get me a bill you are happy with and I will sign. I can check that off my campaign pledege to do list"
