How sad must it be to depend on the election of someone to the swamp to think your life will be changed either way.

quote:

Barkley also took the moment to criticize Democrats, saying they've taken support from black voters and poor voters for granted "for a long time" and expressed hope the party would take action to benefit those groups. "It’s time for them to get off their arse and start making life better for black folks and people who are poor," Barkley said.

They've done so much in growing the poverty rate and dependence on government handouts. Has he been checked for CTE?

I think people are misunderstanding Chuck. He's not a democrat. He's trying to make black people to stop voting straight Democrat if they keep getting ignored.

He called Trump voters neo-nazis on local radio yesterday. He spit out talking points. I think he's probably mildly retarded.

You mean that the African-American vote has been going 90% for the last 50 years for a Party that hasn't done anything to help them?

One would have to ask why do African-Americans keep voting for them?

Blacks don't have a problem that Politics can fix. What...more money from the Working Folk...toward what end? Education for a job with real value? Payment for Fathers to raise their children as responsible citizens?

Barkley had best stay with the ball stuff; lest His ignorance be manifest. Not that He cares. He's rich and above the hurt now, don't have to.

Lost Generation. Or Two.

The black community will turn a corner when they quit listening to this. Barkley and other black “leaders” should be saying “its time for black folks and poor people to get off their asses and start making life better for themselves.” Government assistance has long been a crutch and serves ZERO purpose other than to continue to make them dependent on the government.

Why the black president didn't help them or something?. How much more help do black people need? The fact that many black people believe republicans are out to get them in spite of the history of the Republican Party is astounding to me.

Because they have been reminded time and time again by the Democrat party that Republicans are racist and want to bring back slavery, this has caused a mindset among the black community that they just can't vote Republican, no matter what.

Yeah right. After all it's worked so great in the Democratic run cities, hasn't it?

I don’t understand the Nazi thing. Trump is being blasted by every liberal for clearly supporting Israel and recognizing Jerusalem as their capital. Yet somehow he and his supporters are Nazis. Does adding Neo in the term change the meaning?
I’m just not sure how it aligns. The previous President seemed to disrespect and have a poor relationship with Israel, yet....anyway. Just thinking how it makes zero since based on facts.
