Again, their company is dying because these people did not make that specific change (to CB). It's the same old people who remained loyal who are dying. That replacement generation never came. The CEO tried to create one, and likely failed at it.
The point you’re missing, is why aren’t people coming back?
It’s not the decor, it’s not the kitschy stuff they sell, it’s the food and the service that cause people not to come back.
Buccee’s is as hokey as they come, but the place prints money.

Part of that was one of their last attempts to rebrand, by keeping prices low during the major post-Covid inflation.
It even played to their rural base by countering what that base saw as "Biden's inflation"
Didn't work. The death spiral continued.

Dumbass, it’s a public company. The stats relating to their customer demographics are there for you to look up if you want to. Of course, you can rely on your own stupid personal anecdote if you want to.
When’s the last time you were in a restaurant and had anyone check what demographic boxes you fit into?
I’ve never experienced that.
Having someone make a crude estimate doesn’t make for a reliable survey.

When did she take over?
Cracker Barrel stock has been steadily declining for 4 years.
it’s was 37.21 a share in April of this year before all this happened
it’s not like Bud Light who was selling beer nonstop before the Mulvaney fiasco
this feels like when people cry about how there are no original movies and just remakes and sequels and then don’t go see original movies

Are the biscuits and sawmill gravy still good? Serious question.

Don't look now, but guess what got jettisoned from CB's webpage?

Cracker Barrel’s demographic is actually people who grew up eating and still like to eat the kind of food that would make their doctors lose their s**t in the middle of the floor. People don’t go to Cracker Barrel for their health.
In my neck of the woods, the CB does primarily draw an older demographic but I live in an aging area.
Jack’s is a big thing in my area, especially in the morning for breakfast when you can’t get near them, and the people you see eating inside are primarily old people. Because there is literally nothing on the breakfast menu that is good for you, but it’s what these folks grew up eating for breakfast and they’re going to by God keep eating it for breakfast, their cholesterol and A1C be damned.
