He was ranked 6th in the world to start the year.

Listening to Baker-Finch you would have thought Nelson Mandela was out there.

Agree Woods is the greatest. But not sure there wont be someone who is better. Koepka has a chance.

I remember when there was no way anyone was going to break Michael Schumacher's records in Formula 1. By the end of next year, they will be gone.

... and LSU was ranked anywhere from 6th-9th in most preseason polls in 2019 ... preseason polls mean little except to the advertisers it is designed for.

Tiger is currently ranked 16th in the world, which I greatly respect. But his prime days are behind him, as evidenced by the lack of fear from his fellow competitors .... a Mike Tyson type of fear response that Tiger once held over his competitors ....

Someone will find it very hard to surpass woods 82 wins. Very hard.

And that’s basically taking off 5-7 years. If he was healthy he would have unattainable majors wins. His total wins are probably unattainable already

Koepka is 30 years old already and had 7 wins. Rory has had a way better career than Koepka and he’s one year older. Spieth has had a better career than Koepka and he’s theee years younger. And all this guys aren’t even close to Nicklaus and woods

When woods was thirty he had 10 majors and 46 wins.

Nicklaus was damn good too

No. Just no.

Nicklaus and Woods will (in all likelihood) remain the greatest major players, ever. The only cat really in the conversation with those two is Bobby Jones.

To touch them, a cat will have to come along and have career year after career year for a decade. Too many young bloods on the tour who can beat you on any given day now. PGA "golf" is better now than during Tiger or Jack's heyday - no question. And it is just going to get better.

Probably a good thing. More democratic this way.

Tiger is arguably the best and most respected player of all time. I don't even like golf but will tune in occasionally when Tiger is playing.

That’s definitely debatable.

I think Prime Tiger is probably better than Prime Jack.

I didn't agree with the "Prime Tiger smokes Prime Jack" statement.

Comparing players across eras is tricky.

What does that have to do with you being wrong? You said it’s been years since he’s been a top 10 golfer. That’s objectively false. Also, it’s not a preseason ranking. It’s not subjective. It’s purely based on performance.

Prime Jack was swinging steel shaft persimmon woods with a sweet spot the size of a dime, and scoring as well or better than Tiger.

A) His competitors were playing the same caliber of equipment.

B) You really think the courses were set up similarly back in the day?
