The Catholic Church has been funding Somali refugees to settle in small northern cities for decades.

He was baptized by a prophet…..a literal liaison to God. Also, the rite he participated in is called a Mikvah, which is conducted on infants of Jewish converts to this very day.

No, Jesus was not baptized by an apostle; he was baptized by John the Baptist. The apostles were his followers who were present at the event.

John the Baptist performed the baptism: The biblical Gospels clearly state that John the Baptist performed the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River.

Jesus's disciples were followers of John: Some of Jesus's future disciples were previously disciples of John the Baptist and may have been baptized by him.

Now, what is this head sprinkling of infants all about?

Jesus's disciples did the baptizing: Later in Jesus's ministry, John 4:2 says, "though Jesus himself was not baptizing, but rather only his disciples," indicating that the apostles did not baptize Jesus.

Correct, and John the Baptist was a prophet, and prophets are liaisons to God.

I never said they were. You said Jesus wasn’t baptized by some guy pretending to be a liaison to God, which is quite literally false. John the Baptist was precisely that. I was making a response to a specific claim you made.

Also, pouring (affusion) is usually the mode in the west, and is permitted by the Didache, though immersion is preferred and still widely used, especially in the east.

When Jesus, the Savior, picked this man to baptise him. That quite literally made him a liason to God.

Now, what does this head sprinkling of an infant do?

So you admit he was baptized by a liaison to God? Thanks for correcting your earlier assertion that this wasn’t the case.

As I stated earlier, it’s affusion or immersion. The church recognizes sprinkling as licit, but I don’t think it’s practiced anywhere. So I’m afraid I don’t understand your question. Seems like you’re either misinformed, intentionally ignorant, or arguing in bad faith.

Jesus was, yes.

Your priest isn't a liason to God. Damn, son, are you just stupid?

I never said he was, so no, I’m not the one being stupid here.

Can you quote where I compared a priest to John the Baptist? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re a Billy Bob Baptist

It's hilarious watching you two argue over what are, again, Hindu rites that have been bastardized by Christianity.

You realize that Jesus likely wiped his arse with his hand too, right?

It's kind of weird to think about though. You know all that baptism shite started as a means to get people to wash their asses due to all the wiping of asses with hands. I guess someone was forward thinking enough to say, "hey, these motherfrickers stink. Let's tell them that if they get in this river their sins will be washed away".
