As I said in two of the four posts on this topic today...
Rush was NOT as somber as these descriptions are making it out to be. He had a serious tone as he updated us all, BUT he also said:
I'm rounding second and eyeing third base.. bit had to go back to second base.
Crossing home plate is beating cancer, obviously.
The article linked, while factual, is an inaccurate summary of what Rush said today.

Such a legacy, I remember dad listening to him on the radio in the 90’s. Sucks we have to go on without him.

Wow, wasn't able to catch all of his show today and missed that part. Have been listening to him since 1990 and can't imagine not having him as part of my day. He's been the biggest force for conservatism that I can remember in the past 50 years. THERE IS NO WAY TO ADEQUATELY DESCRIBE THE MAGNITUDE OF THE LOSS WHEN HE GOES.
