There is a great scene in Indiana Jones and the last crusade where the German colonel is slapping Sr, demanding to know why he came all the way back to Berlin for his diary.

Colonel: slapping Sr* what does the diary tell you that it doesn’t tell us?

Sr: it tells me that goose stepping morons like yourself should try reading books instead of burning them!!

I think the same applies here

Bibles soon to follow. That's when the real persecution begins.

Some weak, malleable, timid, peace-buying souls actually believed - or was it hoped for desperately - that the iconoclasm would end with those CSA monuments.

For books, it began some time ago without much fanfare when they began "editing" Twain's works because of those "insulting" words in them.

Then as good sly marxian "incrementalists" many schools began removing his books from the shelves, along with Joel Chandler Harris's works on the old South.

It wasn't only southern literature that was getting the axe, H.L. Mencken, who was once the darling of the Left suddenly became a pariah to them when they discovered that he was anything but P.C.

Will one of the best writers produced in this Hemisphere - the Canadian-American Jack London's works receive the same treatment since his books depict cruel dog fighting - but don't justify it in any way.

But with the Left, it's all about "keeping up appearances" and getting their way a little at a time.

It is a constant process.

Margaret Mitchell's book has been off many shelves around the country. It probably couldn't even be published today in this atmosphere.

Even Spengler's book on the eventual destruction of the West has been tweaked (edited) down from two volumes to one, with the new version conspicuously toned down from the original's central theme.

Sure Buchanan's works are in the crosshairs.

This is not even the beginning of what our progeny will be dealing with, that is, those who will somehow escape successful conditioning.

It’s sad how these brainless twits have been so easily led to do this.

Finding a list of the burned books is not easy.
quote:

The books included Tintin in America (for depicting Indigenous people in a negative light), books that contained ‘cultural appropriation’, and biographies of French explorers who discovered parts of what is now known as Canada. The flame-purification ceremony was, according to the school board, about making a ‘gesture of openness and reconciliation by replacing books in our libraries that had outdated content… about First Nations, Métis and Inuit people’.

Among the titles were "Tintin in America," "Asterix and the Indians" and three Lucky Luke comic books, as well as novels and encyclopedias.

But there's more to the story.

The woman behind the making of the list ISN'T a real Indian according to THE LIST established in Canada.

“We firmly believed Kies' claims to be an Indigenous woman from the Wbanaki Confederacy and the Turtle Clan.

We were not aware that Suzy Kies does not have Indian status under the act and sincerely believed that we had the opportunity to work with an experienced Indigenous knowledge keeper,” Cosette said.

This is why my storage unit has been increasingly becoming a hidden library as of late. Somebody has to save the knowledge.
