I think Minnesota is too far gone. They should be gifted to Canada free of charge as Canada deserves them.
Would save the American taxpayers so much money in fraud we could pay off the national debt.

This is a very original take. Thanks for starting a thread about it.

Just don't give it to them. Let Trump make at deal. At least carve out the same square milage as Minnesota in Alberta and make it an even trade.

Canada is going full-on socialist . They are actually considering the remaking of their manufacturing industry into state-owned industries (think China subsidized manufacturing) .... meanwhile those same industries are already fleeing to the US in droves as they fight for survival under Canada's regulatory oppression.
Carney is entering the FO phase of the current trade discussions.
Carney is entering the FO phase of the current trade discussions.
quote:
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has recently promoted an expansive LNG pipeline deal to center the domestic infrastructure development around the concept of “Buy Canadian.”
However, when questioned about the actual construction of the proposal, Carney now admits the developers will determine what resources will be used – and it will not be Canadian product. The unfortunate reason is not complicated.
Canada does not have the industrial capacity to make the heavy components for the LNG expansion pipeline because Canada does not have the ability.
