I’d much prefer not running budget deficits of $1.7 Trillion, not remove $30 billion a month out of the economy (which is what tariffs effectively do), and have little to no inflation….

But what do I know….maybe my Econ profs at Chicago were only educated to the 8th grade.

Nobody questioned if they’re true or not. Steps in the right direction for sure.

But leaving out the obvious important context (things are still kinda bleak and warning lights are flashing) doesn’t help anyone.

But then to take it one step further, spiking the football & calling ppl dumb for not doing the same? Yikes.

I'd like to see tariffs used exclusively to achieve fair trade and not used as a tool for other things.

Inflation was lower last year, 2024, than it is now.

And, sadly, inflation has gone higher this year since February.

The Fed needs to raise rates.

Crown Royal is such a perfect metaphor for Canadian culture. It's just like bourbon. But less so.

If I'm Trump, I'd tell them to run an ad showing the full statement by Reagan before I re-entered negotiations.

Their cheyy-picked video quote actually said the exact opposite of what Reagan was actually saying. But they know you can make something sound any way you want if you only omit the context. That's exactly how they've convinced so many people that Trump is a nazi and Charlie Kirk was a racist and bigot.
