If we as Americans sit idly by and let them pass legislation against our freedoms there is no end as to what they do
If we remain passive and continually to allow these actions they will continue until "We The People" stop them. There is no bridle on this wild horse!

I still don't know why the state close 100 of the 178 ABC stores in this state.
Aren't you in the Ham?
The one in Fultondale is still wide open, was there yesterday.
Tito's still in stock.
Might buy another case tomorrow.

The funniest thing I've seen in this whole fiasco was at the ABC store in Chelsea. I walked into the store a day or two after the statewide nonessential business closure order had gone out. I just automatically turned to the left to head to the bourbon section when I heard someone say, "Stop! Sir, stop!" I looked up and realized that most of the store had been walled off with cases of alcohol. "Sir, you need to stay right there. I'll be with you in a minute," said the lone attendant. It was just him, me, and one other customer in the store. I realized that I was not going to be allowed to browse and was going to have to tell him what I wanted and let him bring it to me. I was about to make a joke about how this seemed like a little bit of overkill when my eye fell on a sign that was posted on the door, which read:
"PLEASE DO NOT JOKE ABOUT EXPOSURE TO THE CORONA VIRUS.
Otherwise, out of concern for the safety of our employees, you will be asked to leave the premises."
I never knew the virus was so deadly that even jokes about it can kill. You learn something new every day.

Disney World is closed. I don't think it gets crazier than that.

Nope. Just a little north of the Gump.
3 ABC stores within 10 miles of my house. Only one open. They should put in a revolving door. The one they have, is always opening.

Yep. The ABC store that is still open near me, has that sign too. ABC staff are channeling their inner TSA agent mindset. It's like I'm in the Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode.
