I'd imagine some resistance from more conservative counties, but these people are sheep and believe whatever is told to them on tv. I'm seeing open parks closed down with swing sets zip tied and playground equipment looking like a crime scene with so much tape. I don't feel sorry for these people until they start resisting this state government.

Then, the increased voter turnouts (fraud) will be used to say how voting in person is disenfranchising people, and will be used as evidence to continue doing it.

Of course you’re right and I know there’s a lot of good people there. Heard one guy say “if we kept the illegals and deported the democrats California would be fine” lol. I think it was Larry Elder who said it.

Holy shite! It is 600 standard in Colorado. It’s going to get really bad if they do not extend the CARES Act or reopen. This is going to ruin so many people and for something so overreacted to. I hope you get out soon man.

If Trump has any balls at all he will NOT sign any more stimulus. He needs to force this issue and lay this in the lap of democrats.

They need to just open things up. Let those of us that are in low risk categories go about living our lives and keep things going. Those that are in high risk categories can be assisted by either family, friends or social programs. But shutting things down will only lead to greater problems down the line. Not that they don’t know that.

He is in an extremely difficult position regarding this. If he pushes back, he will he seen as a monster who allowed people to starve and go broke. I’m in agreement that we cannot extend the CARES act and it feels like the California closure today was aimed at doing that given around 2 weeks until it expires. I think Trumps only play here (if he decides to make one) is to suspend federal funding.

There are other things that can be done like suspending the payroll tax. The CARES act is what has got us in this mess because people are making more sitting at home then working. If a state wants to shutdown right now there needs to be a penalty for doing so. There is no justifiable reason why the entire country can't be open and people just be responsible.
