Wouldn't this be a violation by California of the US Constitution as a "restraint of trade?"

quote:

"I am resolved that not a single drop from Trump's new oil plan ever makes landfall in California," Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, chair of the State Lands Commission and a Democratic candidate for governor, said in an emailed statement.

...and to think Gavin Newsome at one time was banging Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Keep it up California. I look forward to shoving the national guard up your hypocritical, self loathing, Anti-American assess!

This is when the Interstate Commerce Act comes in handy.

Personally, I think the Feds should offer states like Cali and Florida a choice: stop being bitches about offshore drilling; or, accept a "pristine beach" surcharge of $.25/gallon for all fuel sold in your state.

Will there even be any new offshore rigs? Seems like a bunch of coastal states are already trying to opt out of the plan to allow them.

Is this retard seriously unaware of all the things that require oil?

Just building a fricking tesla charging station at every mall doesnt mean you're independent of oil

This is probably a stupid question, but how exactly will he knows where the oil comes from?

Why so you can see oil rigs while you're on vacation?

Louisiana and Texas can keep their oil rigs, I'd rather have the beach.

LOL.

Have you ever seen a Google Earth image of some locals in California? They are littered with oil wells.

Furthermore California has issues with natural crude oil seepage off the Pacific coast. Offshore drilling can take care of this problem.

Key statement. He can resolve all he wants. It doesn't make it legal.

Why does California promote O&G pollution?

Just cut off their outside power, drinking water and food for about 72 hours.

Then see how pro-O&G and conservative, politically, they get.

I don't mind it off Louisiana's coast, just wish our state government would help get a bigger share of the money

Just that little patch of coastal land south of Monterey would be worth billions to developers.

Should be largely sold and developed. Most of the federal land in CA should be.

So what if you see it. Wouldn’t bother me at all,as matter of fact, I would try to charter a boat to go see it if possible.

I’m amazed at the engineering of it.
