California Governor Gavin Newsome running for President?

Lots of chatter from national media, desperately seeking an alternative to stop the red wave coming at them.
He likely won't run if Biden does, but if these losses keep piling up, Dem leadership will prod Biden to hang it up. That leaves Harris. Would he run against her? Yes, but he'd wait until the first primary to show how weak she is, first. Nobody like Harris, but he'd need to step in as a "savior", not as a usurper. And, he provides a counterbalance to Ron DeSantis in comparison to executive state leadership.

He’s absolutely running.
They need someone to compete with DeSantis. Cackles is some how less liked than Biden. Biden is…. Well Biden.
Whitmer will run. Buttigieg will run. Abrams will run. Bernie will ‘run’. Gotta get him another big buy out.
My money is on Buttigieg. Gay. Beta. Previous cabinet experience. No real accomplishments. What more could the left want.

He would do really well in the states that the dems are already going to win by a large margin. I don’t see him bringing much to the table in the battleground states.

I agree with this list but have to say what a parade of losers this is. What happened to the D party where they have zero bench? They have no legitimate and credible candidates for leadership any where in their party. Newsome is a moron, Buttigeig has proven himself completely incompetent, Sanders is a geriatric charlatan, Abrams is a race hustler, and everyone hates Stretchin Gretchen. This is the best they can do?

Other than payoffs to the local police and cartels, Mexico is a great place to retire to. Coastal living is relatively inexpensive in comparison to the US.
