The current new favorite thing for Trumpkins to say.
The fact is that Trump personally denied the payments to keep Stormy and Karen McDougal quiet ever existed at all. He said nothing of the sort ever happened.
Now that a court forced Cohen to admit this he's changed his tune and claiming it's okay because he never told Cohen to break the law. Just like a first grader caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
I understand that politicians lie on both sides, but the willingness of people to defend this to the point of willful denial is amazing.
Here's what any honest American would say about Trump at this point:

It’s about personality over principle on both sides. The amusing thing is how quick they were to notice it in Obama supporters but how blind they are to it with themselves.

I'll care about my guy doing this just as soon as Congress goes public about their slush fund of hush money and releases the names of every official that uses it and the person that was paid off.

You think your side gives a damn about honesty? What are your thoughts on the CF hearing yesterday. Just admit it, you hate Trump and therefore you're willing to impeach him over a damn campaign finance violation. If that were the standard for removal 90% of our politicans would be gone. I don't care about Trump fricking whores, denying it and then admitting he paid them off. Paying off a slut with his own money isn't a crime no matter how badly you want it to be. Trump will not go to jail or be impeached / convicted for paying off a slut with his own money. Legal sex. Legal payout. You can spin it all you want but at the end of the day, he won't be hurt at all by this.
He isn't liable for his attorney's incompetence in structuring the deal in a legal fashion, if he even failed to do so.
Cohen recorded all of his conversations yet you want us to believe he didn't record Trump telling him handle the payout even if it included breaking the law?
