When did this transfer of funds take place?
That is a VITALLY important bit of information.
Also, since Biden is now an unregistered agent of a foreign country (Manafort anyone?) when can we expect the 4am FBI raids on his home that the left was championing as just a normal part of the process?
Bamarep needs to know these things.

quote:Yes, I agree with bmy.
According to bmy this was all previously investigated and Biden cleared of any wrongdoing, but is evidence that Bad Orange Man is getting his quid for Ukraine's pro.
Biden’s dealings with Ukraine and Burisma were thoroughly investigated by a NYT reporter and he found no intent for corruption or crimes.
Nothing to see here people, you need to focus on the president and the horrible, unspeakable things he is doing!

you realize your source is a communist newspaper?
It is owned by this company, Group DF. They look like Capitalists to me.

I find it kind of dubious the week after Hunter stepped down from his lucrative position on the Board of Burisma, Joe declared for President, Hmmmm....

quote:No, he's getting downvoted for deliberately misrepresenting the media source. It's not communist, but....
The newspaper, whatever newspaper it may be, is quoting a member of Ukraine's Parliament. I would say the member of parliament is your source.
You are getting downvoted for being stupid.
It is suspect, that's for sure. Let's review:
The media source, as I added above, is Ukrainian News Agency, which is owned by Inter Media Group Ltd., formerly U.A. Inter Media Group, which itself is a subsidiary of the Russian-based company GDF Media Ltd.
GDF Media is owned by Group DF.
Group DF is a Russian Company. Group DF is a diversified international group of companies, operating in a number of countries across Europe and Asia. Their core areas of operations are the fertilizer and titanium businesses and gas distribution. Other Group businesses include agri-business, media and real estate.
It is one of the leading chemical industry investors in Eastern Europe.
quote:
The founder of Group DF is Dmitry Firtash, a prominent Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist and investor. He's an oligarch, a very rich business leader with a great deal of political influence in the Ukraine.
In a pivotal ruling made public Saturday, a federal judge has declined to dismiss the indictment of controversial Ukrainian billionaire Dmitry Firtash, bringing him possibly one step closer to facing sweeping corruption charges alleging an $18.5 million international bribery scheme.
Firtash, 53, has been in Austria for the past several years, embroiled in an extradition fight since his March 2014 arrest in Vienna on charges he and five co-defendants conspired to pay bribes to secure licenses to mine minerals in India.
Firtash was the alleged mastermind in an international racket that aimed to sell titanium to Chicago-based Boeing.
Chicago Tribune
So this guy, who is facing extradition to the US, controls the media that is putting out this story. He is likely incredibly corrupt and if this is the message that he wants to put out there, it will be put out there. He's definitely NOT communist, but he may be corrupt to the core.
Now this little tidbit may be of great interest here. Politico
quote:
The Ukraine scandal engulfing Donald Trump’s presidency goes well beyond the core cast of characters at the heart of Democrats’ impeachment inquiry. It’s now drawing in a duo familiar to anyone who has followed past Washington imbroglios: conservative lawyers and GOP operatives Joe diGenova and his wife, Victoria Toensing. And the scandal is beginning to reveal the opaque agendas of a pair of Ukrainian oligarchs whose legal troubles have led them to seek favors in Washington.
Story Continued Below DiGenova and Toensing, who played major roles in the Bill Clinton dramas of the 1990s and resurfaced amid Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, have signed up to represent Dmitry Firtash, a Ukrainian gas magnate who currently resides in Vienna pending extradition to the U.S. to face bribery charges.
Last year, the married lawyers were briefly expected to formally join Trump’s legal team to defend him in the special counsel’s investigation, but those plans were quickly scrapped due to conflicts of interest with their existing clients. The couple resurfaced, however, working in conjunction with efforts by Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, to dig up dirt on former vice president Joe Biden.
quote:
For Firtash — who is fighting extradition from Austria to the U.S. to face bribery charges — his involvement began at least as early as July, when he parted ways with Lanny Davis, the lawyer who guided Bill Clinton through a variety of investigations and now represents Michael Cohen, the former Trump fixer who confessed to tax evasion, campaign finance violations and lying to Congress, among other crimes.
Firtash replaced Davis with Toensing and diGenova, a colorful and aggressive couple with a nose for scandal and skill at pushing a narrative through allies like John Solomon, the conservative columnist at the Hill who has been writing frequently about Hunter Biden’s activities in Ukraine and about Marie Yovanovitch, the veteran ambassador who was abruptly recalled in May amid attacks on her from Trump allies. DiGenova has gone on Fox News to attack Yovanovitch by name, claiming she had been privately telling others that the president was likely going to be impeached.
Read the rest of the Politico piece. It is ripe with details that show how insidious and deeply ingrained the corruption is out of Ukraine and its ties back to the CD cesspool.
As much as I would like to believe, at this time, that Biden is, in fact, guilty of the accusations, the source, Ukranian News Agency, is suspect because of it's lineage to Firtash.
Just my two cents.

Originally, Senators were appointed at will by the states legislatures. They served at the will of the states. They had no term and could be recalled at any time...
That would be a good start.
Its much easier to purchase a senator with a known 6 year term than reps that are elected for 2 years at a time...

So, how do we find out if this is true?

I tried to contact Burisma and wanted to apply for a position on the Board of Directors, but their crappy server isn't working. With all the money they paid the Bidens, I guess they couldn't afford to get real IT people. I will take less money than Hunter if they throw it a couple of prostitutes.
