I’d be all for it. $100 billion over budget and we all know that will only increase as the years go on. We could’ve had maybe a reservoir or two, desalination plants, helped the electric companies bury their power lines, a nuclear power plant, roads that aren’t beat to hell, a couple prisons, hired crews to help clear the underbrush and dead trees in the forests and pretty much anything else you can imagine…

Nah. We’re building a rail system that people won’t ride in great enough numbers to ever recoup the money that we’ve invested.
