Don’t frick with a Windsor matriarch. If I wasn’t sure about that before, I am now after watching Netflix.

If half of what was shown on Netflick's "The Crown" is true about the Royal Family, especially the Queen Mother, it's hard to get worked up up over any bullying of aides. She & her advisers were / are some cold hearted POS.

Tons of peeps in the UK can't stand her. People from all sides of the aisle over there are pretty united in this.
Can you imagine living under that crap back before they had parliament? Some (totally inbred) dude is barking orders just because his daddy was king, and his daddy before him?
I am so glad Washington refused to become "king" as some of his colleagues desired at the time.

He loved Alexander Hamilton and had somewhat of a father/son mentor type relationship. Hamilton saw Washington as a father figure.
I suppose he could have delegated him as his successor.

Well, considering that they’ve had a parliament for about 700 years, you would have to imagine pretty hard.
And for whatever it’s worth, I would much rather have an enlightened autocratic monarch than this mess we have today.

It will come out that the aides in question may have used the N-word.

I was going to learn about Hamilton, but I couldn't make it 5 minutes into that show. Maybe I'll read a history book instead.
