I think it happened during Sasse's questioning. He specifically asked Horowitz about Bruce Ohr's position with the DOJ.

Horowitz stated Ohr was part of the "drug" division or something along those lines.

Sasse then asked Horowitz why the hell was Ohr involved with this investigation and Horowitz said we have no idea and wondered that as well.

Ohr then took it upon himself to continue to meet with Steele even after the FBI no longer recognized Steele as a valid asset.

Of course the lovely Nellie Ohr did contract work for Fusion GPS, who paid Steele, who Bruce Ohr continued to meet with after the FBI released him as a source.

Sasse then asked Horowitz if Bruce Ohr was still employed by the DOJ and Horowitz said yes.

UNBELIEVABLE

I made note of that in the in-game thread. I think there is definitely a case of bias there once you tie in that Ohr's wife was working for Fusion GPS on the DNC/Steele dossier.

The part about Bruce Ohr in the IG Report is exceptionally damning.

I expect he will be scapegoat number 1.

Member when Nellie Ohr got a ham radio license so she could talk to Chris Steele all the way over in England without leaving any trace of their conversation?

I member.

I think during the questioning Horowitz told Graham, "no it's actually worse, the FBI even after removing Steele as a source, still wanted information from Ohr about his meetings with Steele after the fact"

Nah. His wife is also involved too.

At this point only the obtuse believes that there was no “bias“

Bruce Ohr is working as a cooperating witness with the DOJ in an effort to spare Nellie from prosecution. He can't be made to testify against her, but he can squeal on everyone else.

If he weren't still with the DOJ, Horowitz's office never could have interviewed him. Besides, he's been said to have been demoted. fricker could be cleaning toilets in the DOJ building, for all we know.

Not via conventional channels, but since Barr took over as AG, the DOJ has been airtight.

There's really no way to honestly justify this outside of any "the higher ups were in on it" explanations.
