This is why all money from fines should go to the State, not the individual jurisdiction

I lived in brookside a lifetime ago. Bought my first house there and sold it just before things really went to pot. It’s overrun with meth now. No cop problem back then. But that was 15 years ago.

In Alabama the state does get the fine. The city gets court costs which in some cases is more than the fine.
