British Surgeon Caught 'Tagging' Patients' Livers

Proof that socialized British medicine still gives you great personal service (via The Telegraph).

On Wednesday, he admitted two counts of assault by beating at Birmingham Crown Court but pleaded not guilty to alternative charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Why in the heck would he do that anyways?
I'm no medical professional and rarely get sick. Just find it very odd he would do something like that.

He wanted to sign his "art". Really, that's probably it. An OR can be a very...inappropriate place depending on who is operating.
Surprised I haven't seen any large system surgeons/docs taken down by #metoo, honestly.

Lived in Lexington,Ky. for a few years. There was a doctor that got busted burning the UK logo onto women's uterus'.

My brother was once a nurse in surgery at a local hospital amd said he saw a doctor perform a surgery on the lower bowel to then take the patients spleen inexplicably because he did not need it anyways. Strange as you say.

Bama women would probably pay extra to get the Bama logo on their uterus.
eta: even more to have it inscribed on the inside of their uterus, so baby Nick/Bear (any gender) can feel it during development.
