About 15 years ago I took a job doing DOD contracting.
There's been a lot of things I found that I loved about it but mostly, there's no Indians or other Asians/Africans off the boat fouling things up.
I only work with good Americans (most of them former service members). \
It's actually my favorite thing about working in this industry.

I am married to an Indian woman. Perfect English. They teach English at all schools in the big cities. She is the top performer in her company here in the US. I see work ethic every day. I have also been to India and seen what the desire to work looks like.
I also have a lot of Indian friends here. Including those that have provided medical care and even surgery.
People talking about poorly worded emails are probably talking about data centers that are located in India, not here. All of the Indian Americans I have met here are well educated.

Hey, we're all glad you found your thing bro that works for you.
If AlterEd says he's fine spiritually, you know what most sane people do? They believe him and don't preach to him.

Ah I figured. That's cool. I'm glad you found your wife and I respect that you admire her.
My experience with them however in the work place has been quite different than what you're finding perhaps through rose-tinted glass.
It would seem that on this subject, you and I are at an impasse

Hey, we're all glad you found your thing bro that works for you.

So my “preaching” is for his good, just like a life guard yelling out to someone who is about to get caught in a rip tide is intended to save a life.

I feel like it makes me more informed because I have more exposure.
Eye opening would be a good description.
Anyway, we are off to church.
Happy Easter.

Sure. You sound sane.

Edit - you have a good day also.
And I don’t confuse US corporate data centers located in India with H1B Visa holders here.
The whole outsourcing data centers thing from the 90s was purely a cost cutting measure on a giant scale.

quote:I believe I the existence of a place called Hell that is unpleasant to experience. I’m seeing people that appear to be heading there and warning them to change so that they will avoid that unpleasant place.
Sure. You sound sane.
You think I’m insane because I say some words to warn others? I don’t think you know what “sane” and “insane” mean, then. What I’m doing is both perfectly rational and moral, considering what I believe to be true. You might not agree that Hell exists, but you should agree that if someone thinks it does exist and that they believe there is a way to avoid it, that that person should be telling others about it.

Nah, continue on bro. You believe in what you're doing and you're not causing harm to them
Just because I think it's nuts (your beliefs) doesn't mean I'm right.
