Not a meme, but our conservative private Christian school is redoing a few practices from last year because of omicron. None of them ridiculous. No masks, only 5 day quarantine, just keeping classes separated for a few weeks, and no group chapel. I’m not happy about it but no remote learning and not enforcing any masks, so not overblown.

I told my 15 year old about it and he said “why are we doing this? 14 days, then 10, now 5? Nothing the government ever says to do is right. Nothing worked last year and it’s not going to work this year. They don’t know what they’re doing. Mr Headmaster needs to stop listening to the CDC or whoever.” I walked over and shook his hand and said “welcome to being red pilled son.”

My son starts attending a Christian Private School tomorrow due to the circus at our local public schools. I hope common sense prevails and the private school I am paying for will not succumb to the overreach of govt mandates and policies!
