Now that I look at this a couple things occur to me:
1) Biden is actually wearing the hardhat properly insofar as the shell is concerned. Bill/visor in front as it was designed by the manufacturer. The guts are in backward.
2) A union member has inserted the suspension of his hardhat (guts) backward. This is actually an OSHA violation in that the hardhat was not designed and manufactured to be worn in such a manner, thus rendering it less effective in providing safety for the wearer. (Yes, OSHA will write you up for this one on a site visit.)
I thought Biden was an idiot, but I reckon there are people whose stupidity surpasses even his. And - these are the people who will vote for him.

if you are a welder and have a welding shield that mounts to your hard hat, then the guys are supposed to be backwards to allow the shield to fold up and down.
