Bring back public floggings for crimes

I always loved how the English once used this. Painful and humiliating.
Instead of wasting taxpayers money on giving 3 hots and a cot to every petty criminal, just go back to using this.
Street drug dealer? 50 lashes
Property crime? 80 lashes
Assault and battery? 100 lashes
Leave prison for more serious offenders and white collar criminals.
Hell use lashes for the death penalty for heinous crimes like mass shooters and child molestors.

Normally, I'd be all for this.
But the results on the one American I know of didn't turn out so great.
