ZINC, Ark. —
An organization called 'Bridge the Gap NWA' plans to march in Zinc, Arkansas on Sunday, August 2nd. The small city of Zinc is home to the national director of the Ku Klux Klan, Thomas Robb. 'Bridge the Gap' will meet up with other participants outside of the Harrison Police Department before traveling together to Zinc.
"We can come down here, we can be positive, and we can be peaceful, and we can try to bridge the gap in the community, especially in a community where racial tensions are so high," said march organizer Aaron Clarke.
Clarke told 40/29 News that he wants the event to remain peaceful and positive. However, he expects several counter protest and militia groups to be present.
"If they're going to be hateful, we're going to let them just be hateful. But we're going to still send the message that we are not going to stoop to their level," said Clarke.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department will be present in Zinc for the march.
"What our role will be is that we will keep the peace, that’s what one of our duties will be. Obviously if there are violations of the law then those folks that do that will be subject to be arrested," said Sheriff Tim Roberson. "We will be prepared for that if anything bad does happen."

What's their purpose? Just go someplace and be peaceful? They can do that at their hometowns, at The Sonic.

Whats the NWA stand for in this group?

Northwest Arkansas.
I'm planning on getting a place up there but the liberal disease seems to be infecting the surrounding population now. Will monitor.

We’re going to travel - en masse - to a shithole town in Arkansas to show how peaceful we are.

Those people are going to be walking into a dangerous area. Those people out there around Zinc don't frick around. Back a few years ago I spent a lot of time out in their neck of the woods for work and those people out there really, really do not like "outsiders" anywhere near where they live. They're all heavily armed and probably just looking for an excuse.
Stay away from the Lead Hill to Zinc Road.

Didn't read the article did you?

There's not even a traffic light in Zinc, Arkansas. A lot of open ground may make for a target rich environment.

So you think a town with a population of 101 should be a thriving metropolis?

Hell, there's not even any paved roads. It's out in the boonies. All's that's there is an old railroad depot and some houses.

From what I've read on TD and elsewhere, it is how that area has begun referring to itself. Kinda like NOLA. It's growing and is full of Walmart money.

An article, about some people going to invade a neighboring town? Those are some stupid people, I don't need to read about that trash. Worry about your own fricking town.

Well if you could read you'd comprehend that the town isn't being invaded but you just go ahead and be you dipshit.

I'm considering driving over there to check it out, but I'm telling you guys, I've had dealings with these people and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if shite hits the fan there today. These people don't like outsiders near their place and they aren't afraid of the law either.
I had guns drawn on me multiple times when I was working out there. The spookiest time was when we were off the road looking for a property corner and when we turned back to walk back to the truck there was another truck that had pulled up next to ours and the dude had a rifle laid out across the hood of his truck and he had been watching us through his rifle scope. He thought we were "with the Government" and he was about ready to fire on us.
