It didn't just start in the last few hours. Our nephew and his platoon were out of there last Friday or Saturday. They were only there 4-5 days.

I think they are more concerned about the Iranians getting in there with something that will bring down a plane full of US troops as they are evacuating at the end.

People forget just how close we were to war with Iran. If their Missile strikes against our Iraqi air base would have killed one American then it was ON.

My friend who was on the ground there just got called back up by his former employer there to come on in, a shite show is about to start.
Said the generals and the politicians are clueless and they need to accelerate what is going on. The people on the ground there have little to no confidence in the overall stability of the situation through the end of the week. They have very limited supplies. The water has been cut off and the Taliban control the civilian terminal and are doing "Taliban" things
