To say they are doing this because they can't get firepower is just awillfully ignorant thing to say.
I mean shite, they arrested a group recently that was armed to the teeth planning an attack during the French election.
The use of bombs and trucks isn't drawn from lack of firepower. But a very calculated decision to cause as much terror as possible. To show that you can be struck down any second of any day.

Back to my original point that started this little tangent. The inability to obtain firearms is almost entirely irrelevant to the attack at the Louvre.
