my house was built in 1953. and it’s still at the original height.
it has never had a single drop of floodwater inside of it.
but because i live in a “high risk” flood zone, i pay ridiculous amounts for flood insurance.
i personally know if multiple people that live in areas that do not even require it that have flooded twice due to rains.
sure i live on the coast.
but it takes the right hurricane hitting in the right spot for me to get flooded.
could it happen? absolutely it could.
but you know what’s even more likely to happen?
having a shitload of rain fall out of the skies over Louisiana.

Biden has made millions being a government worker.
Those type career politicians are clueless when it comes to a homeowner trying to manage real life.
