It’s true.
I was in charge of the weekly segment about a knitting club started for disabled transgender Ethiopian immigrants and I just received my buyout notice.

Replying to @nypost
I was repeatedly told that federal funding only accounted for 1% of their operating budget

Partisan hackery going up in flames.

This was such obvious BS, and the argument never made any sense. If it was such a small portion of their budget, why were they fighting so hard to keep it?
It's no different than Planned Parenthood bending over backwards to explain what a small percentage of their services were abortions, but they couldn't possibly operate without federal support for those services.

Huh uh. It’s true don't ya know? That, and abortions only represent 2% of all of the services offered by planned parenthood.

Good. Feel bad for some of the smaller local affiliates that still provide objective local news but NPR as a whole needs to go.

But where will I be able to listen to feminized men tell me in a soft voice how bad Trump is?

Its a shame what they became. Once upon a time, NPR was great. I used to listen to Car Talk all the time and I'm not even into repairing cars.

Imagine them having to actually act like a business and not sucking the money off taxpayers. THE HORROR !!
