Yes it should. But for politicians and the media it's too abstract/complex of a concept to describe.

Plus it requires cutting off the gravy train for many and forcing them to work to survive.

Any laws geared to make loans to anyone that’s unqualified is what caused the last mortgage meltdown a little over 10 years ago

That’s when this same thing was done
