What the frick is wrong with the cops checking a situation out when someone calls them? Just be cooperative and everything will be fine. What kind of a dumb arse won't show their ID? It's not like a perp can't pick up a garden hose and make up a lie. Just help them out and clear everything up. This guy had a chip on his shoulder.

These cops totally overreacted. They then compounded their mistake by actually arresting the guy. Should have just apologized and left once the neighbor confirmed his identity. These officers deserve all the humiliation they get over this. No jury is going to believe anything they testify to the rest of their career.

They didn't make a mistake. They were called to the scene and Alabama is a stop and ID state. They seemed to be as nice as they could possibly be to him and he was uncooperative.

So nice they handcuffed him and then took him downtown to book him. I would have been pissed if they did that to me. Cops are not our rulers. You do not have to show them shite if no crime has been committed. There was no reasonable suspicion of criminal activity so GFY fascist.
