When you bring up partisan politics at special occasions with your family, especially when you know or suspect that some of them may differ from you, all you’re doing is showing contempt for them and implying that you’re better than them.
The same pretty much applies in public and in mixed company when politics isn’t on the docket.

I know you are attempting to be cute (fail), but in current year politics, there really ARE good guys vs bad guys in this country.
While the Right has a sprinkling of baddies, the Left (the bad guys) have gone full-retard, batszhit, over the top, violent, unhinged crazy.
I would be happy if Politics and "tribalism" weren't such an extreme thing nowadays, but it wasn't the good guys that made it this way....pretty stupid if you can't see that.
