You are very ignorant. According to Baker Hughes the rig count is down 147 from this date last year. The industry has developed new completion techniques that have increased production. The wells that have been completed will, depending on the formation, produce the most in the first 6 months and drop off. Because of the production decline, new wells have to be drilled. Companies must invest large amounts of capital to finance drilling. The money comes from borrowing or out of cash flow. Biden has not supported this financing and has pressured banks not to finance oil and gas drilling. You should either check your facts or stay away from topics you don’t know.

Every one of the articles mentioned in thr linked article are opinion articles from the TIPP-INSIGHTS editorial board.
They also have their internally created indexes that no one else computes, so that their result is never challenged.
For example, the TIPP Financial Stress Index- whatever the hell that is.
Why is it that you all post these useless, nameless sources for your "proof"?
