It was like saying someone got a traffic violation so they get their apartment raided...

First it was Trump's CFO is telling on Trump, then Michael Cohen, now Rudy. What would happen if all of Biden, Obama's, & Bush's personal and cabinet lawyers homes were raided breaking attorney/client privilege? They could also be railroaded for crimes without composing them...

What do ambassadors actually do? What benefit to the US?
None. The state dept was set up when it took weeks by boat to travel from country to country and needed a local spokesperson, that time has long passed.
The state dept, world bank, idb, un, etc. is all just one big party for people to travel the world and live on US citizen's dime.
