Sounds like some right wing legal groups should file lawsuits that challenge the legality and validity of pardoning someone for crimes they've never even been charged with, let alone convicted of.

Because that's how it works.

I hope they do just to get the proverbial "no standing" ruling, though.

Might target him for insubordination and seditious behavior is what they mean, right?

Pardon him for what crime? You can't issue a pardon for a crime that has not been prosecuted.

Of course the president can. The president's pardon ability is relatively absolute.

You don’t know what you are talking about. The legality of a president issuing a preemptive pardon for someone who hasn’t even been charged or convicted of a crime has not been tested in the courts.

The legality of this was never tested in the courts. If Biden tries this it will likely end up being decided by the Supreme Court.

Treason. All of the treasonous criminals that have been spying on and been attempting overthrown a duly elected President need to be in jail for life or on the gallows on every TV and Cable Channel live.

He may be pardoned, but I am not sure that would protect him from adverse action under UCMJ.

At a minimum, he could be recalled to duty and stripped of rank and benefits

He and the Vindman bros need to be recalled, court martialed, and imprisoned

And the House needs to use that to deny Vindman a House seat. Just like they did the Cong from NY
