At least it’s a tax poor people will have to pay. Maybe then they will see how ridiculous all this taxing and spending is by democrats

Nah. Poor people take the bus and I’m sure Pete’s “equity” initiatives he’ll plug in will actually cough up more welfare to more than cover any expense.

Just like higher gas prices resulting from democrat environmental regulations are also a tax on poor people who drive.

That's why Biden knowingly lies when he says he is only raising taxes on those making $400k+.

So now people that have to live in the suburbs because of inflated prices in the city they work will be further punished while those inside the city with more money will be given a break.

Do these idiots not see how this is just going to make things for the middle class worse?

I just can’t fathom how idiotic some of this logic is.

Even David Pakman and Kyle Kulinski are trashing this saying it will disproportionately hurt poor and rural people. When you're too far Left for them, then you've really crossed a line.

How do you even implement this? Add a line to your tax return to report the number of miles like you report income?

Spend $43 quintillion retrofitting all 276 million cars in America? Mandate auto manufacturers install expensive new equipment on cars?

You're in effect turning the damned highways into toll roads.

We already have a gas tax. The smart thing to do would be to raise the gas tax a bit to keep up with the fuel efficiency of the cars. But that's too damned easy a solution, and isn't regressive.

Did you drive more than 10,000 miles this year?
Did you make more than $25,000 this year? If not, you're exempt.
Are you black, hispanic, latinx, transgendered, LBGTQF? You're exempt.

Stupid arse idea from a stupid arse mental midget.
