The "2-2 split" in the four families regarding the Benghazi investigations has added significantly to the the politics of Benghazi. If all four families came down on one side or the other, it could make it tougher on whichever side they rejected. But as long as it remains Stevens/Doherty families on one side and Smith/Woods families on the other side, it will remain a politically delicate peripheral issue.

Hmmm...interesting. Payoff? Knowin this bunch...I'd let the families that back Obama's lies that when the IRS goes Conservative...they can expect their account to be *CLOSELY* scrutinized. Like Sarah Palin's dad.

BTW...I really find it hard to believe they'd give a pass to them that are responsible for the death of their family member - due to the obvious negligence/politicization - in regard to security request IGNORED...says a lot about them.

It's almost like we are watching 'invasion of the body snatchers' or something.

shhh everyone reading this thread was praying for a game changer. You have ruined it.

It's worth reading for those who have not studied the subject in depth. But it all boils down in the end to being two separate reports - the Majority report and the Minority report, and reading the two of them makes it quite clear that both sides view the content of the report through entirely different eyes , thus making the report worthless and inconclusive. Additionally, the Senate has only gone through the motions regarding Benghazi, while the House has remained focused. The Senate wants it to go away and this report is their attempt to quietly lay it to rest.

(I'm thinking you're not going to give me another "cheers" emoticon for this post.)

Certain no payoffs of any kind from either side.

The facts of the case, combined with the backgrounds of the four men and their families, make the 2-2 split completely understandable. Especially Stevens' family.
