Actually his argument is so factually incorrect it’s not even funny
Here is someone completely proving how wrong Shapiro is
He's incorrect as well. The internet is not a public utility and none of the pricing plans he brings up have happened and may never happen.
It's all fear mongering. That's it. The big corporations like Google, Facebook, etc. have convinced people to shill for them like crazy. It's incredible the anti corporation people are all supported by the largest corporations in existence.
Even Jimmy Kimmel went on a spiel about it, as he sits as a tv show host paid handsomely by possibly the largest most profitable corporation ever to exist (Disney).

This is something in the modern era I disagree with. Yeah it currently isn’t, but it should be.

Because other countries have as much economic activity as the us right funny guy?
The U.S. is just like which small European country you're about to mention? Exactly like it, right?

You sure are the naive type
During the oral argument in the case, the federal judges questioned whether Verizon actually intended to create a "two-sided market"—charging both its subscribers and the companies who wanted to reach them. "I'm authorized to state by my client today that but for these rules, we would be exploring those types of arrangements," Verizon's attorney, Helgi Walker, said at the time.

Ben is spot not.
The big boys like Google and Netflix don’t like it because it exposes them to competitors.
Google and Netflix are the companies that can afford to pay the tolls, your logic makes zero fricking sense.
It's the little start up that doesn't have the capital to afford a potential fast lane, that the big guys can certainly pay for, that get screwed.
