I figured out why Nick said that he admires Stalin in the Tucker interview which Tucker never gave Nick a chance to explain. Stalin and Trotsky were huge rivals. Stalin won and Trotsky exiled to Mexico. Trotsky's decedents and political adherents ended up in New York City and they were the originators of Neo-conservative movement. The main ideology being constant international revolution, i.e., interventionism. Nick's comment about Stalin was a direct troll on neocons.
