There can only be ond reason fauci, biden, and the feds are backtracking on this and floating the possibility that it came from the lab. That reason is they know somebody got the provable goods and they've getting out in front of it to minimize the damage.

I can think of several reasons, the one you state is certainly on the list. Like I said I’m just happy something is being done now, considering the last administration did absolutely nothing and it’s been pretty clear to me since last summer that this was way more than some fringe conspiracy theory. Better late than never I suppose.

Fauci knew all along what was coming down, as he was well aware of the Research; the whole Deep State Cabal did, on a need-to-know basis. The less anyone knew...the more plausible deniability they assumed. They may not have directly orchestrated the release, but they damn sure did run cover for the CCP...that did.
The odds of that Virus being loosed right before the election, are a 100-1, at the least. Trump was killing the CCP and the Dems as well.
Honest talk went out the window way back. The Left can not back down now, because they are dirty, criminally corrupt with serious jobs/money on line. Throw in egotistical and self righteous to the max.
Irresistible Force meets Unmovable Object. Something will give; likely within a couple of years.
