Beating a dead horse - Trump Townhall

I know this topic is beaten to death but it’s worth starting another short-lives thread.

I’ve watched that townhall 2-3 times now and the manner in which Savanna Guthrie spoke to Trump was absolutely despicable. I can’t remember anything in recent memory where a “journalist’s” personal ideology was so blatantly displayed in an interview. (Maybe the Bush interview where they were trying trip him up on that Syrian general’s name?)

Her constant interrupting while he was speaking and trying to answer the voters’ questions was shameful. Her need to “fact check” everything he said was completely out of line. She obviously knew this was her one chance to give Trump a piece of her mind and she took it...objectivity be damned. She came across as a self-proclaimed expert on every topic even going so far as saying “I’ve read that article too and that’s not what it said...” As if she’s some sort of scientific scholar; guaranteed she’s never read a single scientific scholarly journal and if she has, she has no clue how to critique one.

Her snarky, smug, sanctimonious facial expressions and tone of voice disgusted me. I wish Trump would’ve “laid her soul to waste” on national TV to quote the Stones. Meanwhile Stephanopoulis was playing T-ball with Biden across the aisle.

I’m holding firm in my view that the only solution to escape these horrific deranged progressives is peaceful secession and dissolution of the union.
