Enrolled my 2 in private school for the 2022-23 school year. May God have mercy on my bank account. Honestly, I feel so happy for my kids, and I feel a little guilty for not yet having done this.

Best investment you can make. As long as they are a sane private. I don't notice the amount of money a month now because I got used to it and it is worth the investment.

As soon as I saw what was being taught in the 20-21 school year during remote learning, mine didn't even finish the year before getting enrolled in private. We are blessed enough to afford it. If at some point circumstances change, it will be home school. Public school is too far gone. It's no longer fixable.

If it turns out you don't get your money's worth, have a looksie at homeschooling.

And keep being vigilant, keep up on what they're being taught and by whom. Some of the worst woke offenders are private schools!

we did it in reverse

we did homeschool 1st 2 years, private school for 7 years, then enrolled in Public school to finish HS years

it's been really good for our kids to experience it all..

they got a great foundation in the early years of reading, writing and discipline

but they outgrew the overly structured part of private Christians schools.

Public schools have been eye opening for them but they are able to handle it's influences

I can attest this is also true, unfortunately.

That is a great option if possible. The best option in my opinion, we just can't swing it. California is dang expensive.

It’s Christian / rural GA / conservative. We are cutting out maid, travel ball, car washes, and we will curtail eating out. Those measures will save a lot.

I can point you in the direction of inexpensive resources for homeschooling if you're ever considering that option. It can totally be done k-12!

Sure... I am prepping to move out of this state and want my wife to stay home. So it is an option, just not here. 800 thousand homes cost a crap ton of money a month.

Very conservative , Christian school. Wokeism isn’t really even a problem in our public schools. Apathy is.

That is how wokism enters. The left swoops in when people aren't looking.

You’re still gonna have to keep close watch, no place is totally safe right now.
