For the past couple of years I would give my daughter and her family the money for an Audubon Zoo family pass as a Christmas gift. This past Christmas because of the virus we did not do it. Today we talked and she said they would not be going to the zoo since they showed how the woke crowd has control over them. I was wondering is anyone else having family members that will be avoiding the zoo?

They let twitter decide for them that having an event that supported NOPD officers would be divisive. They specifically mentioned people from outside the community as having a hand in coming to that decision.

There was a thread on the OT about it a few days ago.

Good lord. This form of virtue signaling will pass. Conservation groups, like the Audubon Society, are going to inherently be more socially liberal.

Why why why can't companies just learn to ignore these ignorant fricks.

What would have most likely happened if they ignored and had the event is\.....nothing. The wokesters would have just moved on to other "virtuous" causes.

Ugh. Weak arse pussies.

As you stated, they are liberal progressives.

As such, they will bend to the will of the communazis.

Audubon cancels "Blue at the Zoo"

They cancelled an event that was meant for people to wear blue in support of law enforcement. Due to outside pressure that the event could be unintentionally offensive, they cancelled the event.

Under the current political climate and social conversation I understand their reasoning. Honestly, I think the zoo should just stick to education about animals and their habitats.

I suppose since these organizations don't like the blue they don't want my green cash either.

If they didn't "like the blue" I suspect they never would have scheduled the event in the first place. Sure, they caved to the vocal minority. However, they probably also made a decision to cancel as to not run the risk of having protestors and activists show up.
