None of the above

Trump was clearly “bladed” while on the ground by John Cena:

Cena helped usher him out (just over Trump’s right shoulder holding his ear) :

Hulk Hogan was going to be the nominee at the RNC setting up:

JD Vance was always being considered though;

Have a good weekend PT..

4. I'm not opposed to 5, but I haven't done the research to make that assertion yet.

Modified 2.

Conspiracy theories are fun, but these have been borderline retarded. Most of the theories around this seem to involve people who "knew" what was coming, but kept themselves in harms way by lingering very close to Trump.

And also-- To the bad guys, this was the most important political assassination ever. Why wouldn't "they" get an ex military badass to carry this out? Instead, "they" opted to use some kid from town to carry out the most important assassination of all time? This is just silly..

3. A single shooter put into action with the assistance 1-2 others to be able to navigate security and gain access to carry out the attempt. The navigation of security being facilitated by intentionally leaving openings in the setting of known incompetence and negligence.

My opinion is within the #2 & #3 range. Previously, I believed Crooks was a lone wolf that was motivated by political reasons and took advantages of security gaps.

Right now, I'm interested in the fact that geo-location has shown that a cell number associated with Crooks pinged near FBI DC offices in 2023.

quote:

According to Oversight investigators, a phone associated with Crooks’ work address at a nursing home in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, traveled to the Gallery Place complex in downtown Washington, D.C., on June 26, 2023. The phone “pinged” seven or eight times from that location the same day.

Complete incompetence combined with such hatred of Trump that they don’t do all they could to protect him. In that regard, intentionality can’t be ignored.

Who the hell values a presidential candidate over their fricking career, or potentially even their freedom if suspected of being part of a conspiracy? You would have to be an idiot to intentionally leave a protectee vulnerable for political reasons.

I think it was probably a mixture of incompetence, miscommunication, and complacency.

It’s been over 40 years since a president (or major presidential candidate) was last struck by a bullet. This was a routine rally out in the middle of nowhere.

Secret Service agents are human like everyone else, and I suspect it’s difficult to be 100% focused on every square inch of an area at every minute for hours at a time. We see it in sports all the time. How often does that defending national champion with a 20+ game winning streak go on the road to play some no-name they should beat by multiple touchdowns and get upset or have a close call because they’re just not as focused as they should be? How many people die in car wrecks because they were playing on their phone instead of paying attention on a busy road?

I’m not making excuses for them. Everyone in the Secret Service who had anything to do with that roof being left uncovered should be fired or reprimanded. BUT when you do the same shite day after day after day without incident it is easier to imagine someone losing a little focus or cutting a corner in planning thinking nothing will happen than being part of a conspiracy with some 20-year-old loser that would result in prison time.

Between 3 and 4...with individuals (a few) who work in key government agencies and facilitated the breaches in security.

The entire agencies weren't in on the conspiracy.
