“Ethics and morals“ play an important role in setting policy.
On the other hand, “special knowledge“ of the law is indeed rather useful in interpreting the law as it actually exists.
For whatever reason, this distinction seems to elude many posters. When examining a purely legal issue, they allow their emotions and passions to override objective reasoning. When objective fact, applicable rules/statutes and governing precedent are explained, they just become more angry.
As a result, they usually wholly-fail to understand why the final result is that which it is. And they tend to sky scream and rage post about the results.
Oddly enough, they also feel the need to rage post about anyone who examined the issue objectively. Strange.

I got some news for y’all’s, it’s a big pile of shite. I may not vote again because I don’t have confidence it’s legitimate. Alaska is sounding pretty good….other then my job is in Louisiana and I don’t fish or hunt… and I hate old weather…but other then that Alaska sound great!
